  4. Victoire! Installation
  5.    Installing Victoire! is a simple process under either System 6 or System 7.  To install Victoire! under System 6, simply copy Victoire! into your System Folder.  When running System 7, Victoire! is installed by simply dropping the Victoire! icon onto the System Folder icon.  The system will notify you, and automatically put Victoire! into the proper Control Panels folder.
  6.    Once Victoire! has been installed, you must reboot in order for it to load.  Then, Victoire! may be customized by opening its Control Panel.  In the Control Panel, Game Enhancement Modules (GEMs) may be added, Victoire can be turned on or off, and the Victoire! startup icon can be turned off.

  10. About Victoire! 1.0.2
  11.    The following bugs have been fixed in Victoire! 1.0.2:
  12.       - bomb when clicking on the logo in > 256 colors
  13.       - GEM not invoked if assigned to some keys (e.g.  opt-N)
  14.       - inability to assign command keys to GEMs in the Control Panel

  16.     Also, Victoire! 1.0.2 now deletes the Victoire! Prefs file if it has become corrupt, and notifies the user that the GEMs need to be reinstalled.

  19.    GEMs for ARASHI, Lemmings, Maelstrom, and Leyte Gulf are now included with Victoire!

  24.    Under Victoire 1.0.1, cheats are now referred to as Game Enhancement Modules, or GEMs; the option to disable a cheat has been removed; and the following bugs have been fixed:
  25.       - bug which sometimes caused a bomb when closing the control panel
  26.       - bug which caused a preferences file to be created on the root level

  28. About Victoire GEMs 1.0.1
  29.    The GEMs provided with Victoire 1.0.1 have been updated and improved from those released with Victoire 1.0.  GEMs for Prince of Persia, Spectre, and Operation Tsunami are now included with Victoire.  A major bug has been fixed in the Hellcats GEM which caused it to bomb when invoking a cheat with Hellcats 1.0.3.  Also, the Solarian II GEM has been improved so that cheats are immediately reflected on the screen.
